Richmond largely escapes brunt of windstorm

It appears only a few thousand customers in Richmond lost power during Sunday evening's windstorm

It appears Richmond missed the full force of yesterday’s windstorm, which hammered parts of the Lower Mainland.

There were reports of a few trees down across the city – including on No. 4 Road, between Blundell and Dayton Avenue, where the road was blocked by emergency services while the tree was cleared.

However, according to BC Hydro’s power outage list, only a few thousand customers were affected on Sunday evening.
