A section of Stanley Park's seawall in Vancouver, B.C. is closed due to a landslide.

Those meandering along Stanley Park's seawall won't quite be able to make it all the way around the park for the rest of the week.

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation has closed a section of it due to a landslide.

"The seawall will be closed between Third & Second beaches for slope remediation work, following a landslide near Ferguson Point," states the parks board on social media.

The organization doesn't say when the landslide happened, but the announcement was made the evening of Nov. 26; the closure will last from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1. Heavy machinery will be brought in to do the work.

Second and Third beaches are still open and accessible via other means.
