A Vancouver video game studio will be developing a mobile game based on The Office.

Soon you won't have to be in Scranton to manage the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin.

Like a gift from Belsnickel, there's going to be a mobile game based on The Office. Dubbed The Office: Somehow We Manage, it's being developed by LEAF Mobile and their subsidiary East Side Games. Both call Vancouver home.

The game will focus on manager Michael Scott's efforts to keep the branch from being downsized, much like early episodes of the show, and putting out any cheese pita fires (looking at you, Ryan).

Players will aim to earn cash to keep the office afloat while dealing with the characters from the show, including Jim pranking Dwight and Stanley working on his crossword book, though they don't say how you 'beet' the game.

No word if parkour will break out at any moment.

The game will also integrate moments from the show, including the Dinner Party and The Dundies.

It's expected in late 2021.
