A room for rent in Downtown Vancouver may be tiny, but it has a great view - so long as you're not worried about heights.
The small space is a solarium with a bed in it; given where photos show the bed is placed and the floor-to-ceiling windows, whoever lives there will look out over the city's core when they get up every day, with the windows just a few inches away.
In the Facebook Marketplace ad photos give an idea of how things look, but a video gives a clearer idea of the size and shape of the room, and how close to the window one would be while living there.
The ad is actually to sublet the room for the summer, at $900 per month until Sept. 30. However, that could turn into a long-term situation at the end of the term.
Aside from the view, the room itself offers little else; there are no shelves, closets, or room for furniture. The apartment itself comes furnished with the usual items, while the building itself has a couple of perks, including a gym, a pool, and a location within walking distance from things like Pacific Centre or St. Paul's Hospital.
