Legion music

PMSS musical

Catch Alastair Aligabo, Emma Ward and Moona Milani, as well as other talented musical theatre students at Port Moody Secondary, in the high school production of The Drowsy Chaperone. Tickets are $15 online. The production at 7 p.m. is in Room 301 at Port Moody Secondary (3000 Albert St.).

Improv comedy

Elephant Man

The story of the life of John Merrick, who was born with rare skin and bone diseases, comes to life at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) at 7:30 p.m. — courtesy of Stage 43 Theatrical Society. Written by Bernard Pomerance, the Elephant Man is the last play of the season for the Coquitlam company. Tickets are $28/$24/$18.

The Addams Family

See theatrical students at Heritage Woods Secondary (1300 David Ave., Port Moody) perform the musical The Addams Family in the school theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $14/$12.

Crossroads coffeehouse

The Trout Lake Trio and Stephen Palmer are on the music program for the bi-monthly Crossroads Hospice Coffeehouse fundraiser, starting at 7:30 p.m. in Mabbett Hall at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.). Admission is $10 at the door. Parking is free.
