Vancouver Park Board announced Saturday afternoon that Kitsilano Beach is now closed to swimming due to high E. coli levels.
Earlier this month, Sunset Beach and Trout Lake, as well as Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver and Snug Cove on Bowen Island, were all closed to swimming due to E. coli. Sunset and Ambleside beaches have subsequently re-opened, however, advisories remain in effect for Trout Lake and Snug Cove.
