Spring has sprung in Vancouver and the city's goslings are strutting their cutest stuff.

While you're probably steering clear of downtown Vancouver right now, you can get your fix of the city's flora and fauna on Instagram.

A popular local photographer has shared a number of his latest spring snaps on the social media platform, which includes some pictures of Vancouver's Canada geese and their fuzzy yellow goslings.

Famous for his portraits of the geese, Hobby photographer Alexandre Légère has gained a considerable following from shooting the inquisitive birds up close - especially the downy, adorable youngsters.

In order to capture an intimate snap of the tiny creatures, he recommends you stay as close to the ground as possible.

Légère's favourite places to photograph the geese are Stanley Park’s Lost Lagoon and all around the sea wall. He tries to stay calm and allow the birds to come to him in order not to startle them.

In addition to birds, Légère has captured the city in bloom, with numerous pictures of cherry blossoms, tulips, and rainbows. A scroll through his feed also offers a variety of seasonal gems, such as crisp, wintry images, sprawling summer panoramas, and colourful fall foliage.

Have a look at some of his current spring selection.
