Vancouver Police ask public to help locate missing senior

The man was last seen in the lobby of his apartment building near Broughton and Pendrell streets

Vancouver Police have reported that Robert Jenkins has been located and is now safe.

 

Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 70-year-old man with dementia and diabetes who has not been seen since Monday afternoon.

Robert Jenkins went missing around 4 p.m. on July 19 and was last seen in the lobby of his apartment building near Broughton and Pendrell streets, in the West End. The VPD is especially concerned as Jenkins hasn’t taken his required medication. 

Jenkins is described as white, 5’7” with a thin build in a recent release. He has thick black hair, sideburns, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket, white shorts, and white shoes.

Jenkins uses a manual wheelchair and has a hard time walking.

Any member of the public who sees Jenkins is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
