Update: Missing man with serious brain injury found

The man has been found safe.

A man with a serious brain injury reported missing in Vancouver has been found safe.

He had been seen leaving Vancouver General Hospital at West 12 Avenue and Oak Street on Nov. 25, around 5:30 a.m., according to the Vancouver Police Department (VPD), before going missing for more than a day.

Police were concerned as the man has a brain injury which meant he wouldn't likely be able to make his way home.

In an update on Sunday, Nov. 26 the VPD noted he had been found safe.
