The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a 64-year old man who went missing earlier this week.

Bill Nazar got separated from his caretaker and was last seen on security footage heading southbound on Granville Street from Cordova Street on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 4:50 p.m. Nazar suffers from health issues that require regular medication, the VPD wrote in a press release adding that he may appear confused or come across as confrontational. He is known to take transit and travel on foot.

Nazar is described as white with a slim build, 5'3", 135 pounds, mostly bald with short grey hair. He walks with a limp, has slurred speech, and has no teeth. Nazar was last seen wearing a black and orange Helly Hansen rain jacket, a red and black checkered shirt, black pants, and a blue baseball cap with a Mickey Mouse logo on the front.

Anyone who sees Bill Nazar is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
