Missing man located safely: Vancouver police

The 63-year-old man had been missing for several days.

The VPD says the subject of July 16 plea for the public's help has been located and is safe.

A 63-year-old man is no longer missing, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

The VPD issued a plea on July 16 for the public's help in locating Vernon Larsen.

Larsen had last been seen the evening of July 11 when he spoke with police in Mount Pleasant near Broadway and Alberta Street.

On Monday, July 18, the VPD indicated Larsen "has been located and is safe."

No further details have been provided.
