Police release video of vehicle involved in woman's death near Vancouver gas station

The VPD's Major Crime Section is investigating the woman's death and asks anyone with information to come forward.

Police are asking for help locating a vehicle that was seen near an East Vancouver gas station where a woman was found injured and later died

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says a 37-year-old woman was discovered injured on a road near the Esso gas station at Kingsway and Victoria Drive just after 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, according to a press release. 

"Despite life-saving attempts by first responders, she died at the scene," say police. 

The VPD has released images and a video of a vehicle that was seen in the area where the woman was discovered in hopes someone will recognize it. 

“Investigators believe the people in this vehicle know what happened to this woman,” says Const. Tania Visintin. “We are now asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle and identifying those involved.”

Witnesses, or anyone with dash-camera video who was near Victoria Drive and Kingsway around 5 a.m. on Saturday, are asked to call the VPD at 604-717-2500.
