Are you a fan of the hot weather?
While there isn't a heat warning in effect, the Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes plenty of sizzling temperatures this week.
Starting on Wednesday, Aug. 24, Environment Canada calls for bright sunshine and a high of 26 C on the coast with inland temperatures climbing up to 31 C. These highs will feel more like 33 C and 37 C with humidity, however.
Heading into Thursday, locals can expect more hot, sunny weather, with another 26 C high on the coast and a 31 C high inland; these temperatures will feel more like 32 C and 36 C with humidity.
Friday's forecast includes more toasty temperatures, although they aren't expected to be quite as hot as the soaring mid-week highs.
For the weekend, the sunshine is expected to continue through Saturday with some cloudy periods on Sunday.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday and Tuesday are also expected to see a mix of sun and cloud, with temperatures climbing back up to 25 C on the coast.
Overnight lows are forecasted to fluctuate slightly in the mid-teens throughout the week, however, Wednesday night is only expected to dip down to 19 C.
