Locals hoping to avoid a torrential downpour this weekend may be in luck — but they won't exactly stay dry.
The Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes several opportunities for precipitation in the coming days, albeit less heavy than earlier this week.
On Thursday (June 9), the region saw a significant amount of rainfall. And while Friday's forecast doesn't include another rainstorm, Environment Canada calls for periods of rain later in the day. During the day, however, locals can expect to see increasing cloudiness with a 30 per cent chance of rain and a high of 18°C.
Saturday is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud during the day and another 18°C high with a 40 per cent chance of showers overnight. Sunday's forecast also includes a chance for wet weather overnight.
Heading into next week, the forecast includes a couple of dry days with a mix of sun and cloud on Monday and Tuesday. There is a possibility for the wet weather to pick up again Wednesday, however.
