After the city saw a bit of rainfall on Monday, the Metro Vancouver weather forecast looks decidedly stormy for Tuesday, May 12.

Not only does Environment Canada call for a chance of showers all day long, but it also calls for a risk of thunderstorms throughout the day. With this in mind, the temperature will be mild, with a high of 18°C during the day and a low of 12°C overnight.

On Wednesday, the forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of showers during the day followed by cloudy periods overnight. In addition, the evening temperature will drop down to a cooler low of 9°C. Following this, Thursday is expected to see a 60 percent chance of showers during the day and cloudy periods overnight.

On Friday, however, the forecast calls for one day of respite from the Vancouver rainfall. With clear skies and bright sunshine in the forecast, the daily temperature is expected to reach 18°C; the evening is expected to be cloudy with a low of 12°C.

The rain is expected to return to the city over the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday's forecasts calling for a 60 percent chance of showers. In addition, Monday is expected to be wet during the day, too.
