Here's how much rain to expect in Metro Vancouver this week

While some days may be wet, the forecast includes temperatures that will feel like 26 C.

Environment Canada provides the Metro Vancouver weather forecast starting on July 4, 2022, as well as a peek at the summer forecast.

Locals looking to avoid scorching temperatures this week will likely be in luck — but they may have to deal with some humidity. 

Starting on Monday (July 4), Environment Canada calls for a 70 per cent chance of showers during the day with a high of 18 C and some southeast wind gusting up to 20 km/h. 

On Tuesday, the forecast includes a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 19 C on the coast except 24 C inland. However, temperatures will feel more like 26 C with humidity. 

Wednesday's forecast includes a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 21 C during the day while the overnight forecast includes a 60 per cent chance of showers. The possibility of wet weather persists through Thursday, with a 60 per cent chance of showers during the day and a high of 22 C. 

Folks hoping to score a sun tan on the weekend might be in luck. So far, Friday through Sunday's forecast include a mix of sun and cloud and daily highs ranging between 21 C and 23 C. 

Overnight lows through the week are expected to range between 12 C and 16 C, with most nights dropping down around 14 C.
