Pockets of Vancouver erupted into celebration this past weekend with news of Joe Biden defeating Donald Trump in the U.S. race for President.
This included in front of shuttered Trump Tower Saturday afternoon, where two people dressed up in dinosaur costumes to celebrate Biden’s win, announced that morning.

The instigators dressed up as dinosaurs and danced to “Beat it” by Michael Jackson while holding a sign that read “Biden won.”
The song's lyrics: "Don't want to see your face, you better disappear."
They were eventually seen being joined by passersby on West Georgia Street.

Trump Tower bankrupt, Trump loses presidency
It was not too long ago that the operator of the Trump International Hotel & Tower Vancouver filed for bankruptcy.
In August, TA Hotel Management Ltd. – the hospitality division of the Vancouver developer Holborn Group – had liabilities amounting to $4.8-million and assets of just $1.1-million.
The tower first opened in Feb. 2017 and closed in early April due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will never again reopen.
