The COVID-19 pandemic is trending in the right direction in the Tri-Cities in terms of week-to-week cases and immunization rates.

But the question is, what will the way we work, shop and learn look like moving forward?

That’s what the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce (TCCC) is set to ask one of RBC’s top advisors at a free public town hall later this month.

Virtually, the Chamber will be talking with John Stackhouse, RBC senior vice-president in the office of the CEO, who’s said to be “one of Canada’s leading voices on innovation and economic disruption.”

As the bank’s leader on research and economic, technological and social change, Stackhouse is scheduled to share his thoughts on how COVID-19 has changed businesses and what the future holds for consumers.

Stackhouse is also a former editor-in-chief with The Globe and Mail.

His event with the TCCC — partnered as well with the Burnaby Board of Trade — is scheduled for June 29 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Interested residents are asked to register in advance so you may submit questions for the assigned Q&A session.

For more information on the town hall, you can visit the TCCC’s website.
