Update: Liqi Zou has been located as of Friday (May 12) evening and is safe.
Vancouver Police are seeking the public's assistance to locate a 64-year-old man with dementia.
Liqi "William" Zou was last seen leaving his residence near Rupert Street and E 47th Avenue on foot around 8:40 a.m. Thursday (May 11).
He is 5’8”, of Asian heritage, 140 pounds with a medium build and black hair. Zou was last seen wearing glasses, a grey quarter zip sweater, thin white cotton pants, and white runners.
Police say his disappearance is out of character, and believe that he may have had trouble finding his way home.
Anyone who sees Zou is asked to call 911 immediately and remain with him until first responders arrive.
