Vancouver will be in full spring bloom this week, says Environment Canada

If you can get outside in the middle of the week, do it!

The sun may be gone for a day, but it'll be back later this week in Vancouver.

While the short burst of summer weather this weekend is already fading, some nice spring weather is headed to Vancouver this week.

April's showers will continue into May as Monday, May 1 will see a chance of showers carrying over from Sunday with cloudy weather, but it should clear up later in the day, according to Environment Canada. After a high of 23 C on Saturday, Monday's high of 14 C might seem a bit cool, too, along with a low of 8 C.

The nice weather will be quick to return, though, with midweek sunshine. Tuesday and Wednesday should be similar with sunny days and highs around 17 C or 18 C (which will continue through the week). Overnight lows will be around 9 C.

Unfortunately, as we get closer to the Mother's Day weekend, the weather will start getting cloudy and damp. Thursday is forecast to have a mix of sun and cloud, followed by a cloudy Thursday night and Friday. Showers will arrive Friday night and will likely stick around through the weekend.
