Homicide teams have been called to investigate after a woman was found dead inside a Surrey home Friday afternoon.

Surrey RCMP responded to a call to the property at 122nd Street and 58th Avenue just before 5 p.m. Oct. 4.
One man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody. Police say both parties are known to each other and the incident is not related to gang involvement.
Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team are looking into the death.
There is no concern for public safety at this time.
