Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Energy. Down $2.90, or 10.68 per cent, to $24.25 on 280 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Industrials. Down 10 cents, or 17.24 per cent, to 48 cents on 10.8 million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Energy. Down 16 cents, or 20 per cent, to 64 cents on 8.3 million shares.

Air Canada (TSX:AC). Industrials. Down $1.66 or 8.51 per cent, to $17.85 on 224 million shares.

HEXO Corp. (TSX:HEXO). Health care. Down seven cents, or 5.19 per cent, to $1.28 on 33 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU) Energy. Down $2.22, or 8.4 per cent, to $24.22 on 226 million shares.

Companies in the news:

BCE Inc. (TSX:BCE). Down $1.50 or 2.53 per cent to $57.85. Bell says it has launched its new high-speed 5G wireless network in Montreal, the Greater Toronto Area, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. It is the second of Canada’s Big Three telecom companies to launch its plan for fifth-generation deployment. The new service is to offer those with 5G-enabled smartphones faster data speeds and faster response times.

Transat A.T. Inc. (TRZ). Up 36 cents or 5.9 per cent to $6.47. Transat announced Thursday it will resume operations on July 23 after grounding its fleet on April 1. It plans to gradually start flying on 23 international routes and some domestic ones. CEO Jean-Marc Eustache also called on government for financial support so it can give refunds to passengers whose flights were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour operator reported a loss of $179.5 million for the quarter ended April 30, compared with a loss of less than $1 million a year earlier.
