Tristan Bertucci and Braeden Kressler each contributed a goal and an assist, with Jeremy Martin and Nathan Aspinall also chipping in a goal apiece for Flint (4-6-0). Nathan Day made 36 saves.

Connor Clattenburg, Brenden Sirizzotti and Justin Cloutier replied for Sault Ste. Marie (7-5-0). Landon Miller stopped 20-of-24 shots.
