QMJHL Roundup: Joshua Roy's hat trick leads Phoenix in shutout win over Foreurs

Joshua Roy recorded a hat trick as the Sherbrooke Phoenix continued their dominant ways with a 6-0 win over the Val-d'Or Foreurs on Thursday. Cole Huckins, Milo Roelens and David Spacek also scored for Sherbrooke (13-1-1).

Cole Huckins, Milo Roelens and David Spacek also scored for Sherbrooke (13-1-1). Samuel St-Hilaire stopped all 22 shots he faced.

Justin Gill notched three assists in the win to separate himself from the pack as the league leader in points with 30.

Adam Rouleau made 17 saves in the loss for the Foreurs (8-7-2).

HALIFAX — Halifax scored four unanswered goals in the second period alone before keeping Baie-Comeau (7-8-0-1) at bay in the final period to win. Brody Fournier, Mathieu Cataford, David Moravec and James Swan all scored for the Mooseheads (9-1-2-1).

CHARLOTTETOWN, P. E. I — Alex Michaud scored the game-winning goal with 2:20 remaining as Charlottetown (7-7-1) defeated Moncton (8-4-0-1). Giovanni Morneau and Michael Horth also scored for the Islanders while Vincent Labelle scored both of the Wildcats' goals.
