Founded in 1906, Beaver Lumber was once Canada's leading supplier of lumber.
With 138 stores at its peak, the company was sold to Molson in 1972, then to Home Hardware in 2000, when its stores were rebranded as Home Building Centres.
Their mascot was named Joe Beaver and he is pictured here carrying his wooden toolbox, happily making his way to a construction project.
