Trudeau and Singh both campaigning in Metro Vancouver today

Two federal leaders will be in Metro Vancouver Tuesday, with both making stops in Burnaby South.

Two federal leaders will be in the riding of Burnaby South Tuesday.

Liberal Leader and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will make an announcement in an industrial park near the Production Way-University SkyTrain Station in the morning.

Later this evening, Trudeau will join supporters and deliver remarks at a Team Trudeau 2019 Campaign Rally with the Liberal candidate for Surrey-Centre, Randeep Sarai.

And Jagmeet Singh, leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party and member of Parliament for Burnaby South, is also bringing his national campaign to the riding, which he has he represented in the House of Commons since winning a byelection on Feb. 25.

Singh will host a town hall at the Firefighters Banquet Hall at 6515 Bonsor Ave.

The event, billed as “a discussion on important issues for our community,” is scheduled to run from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The party is requesting people who plan to attend to RSVP on its website.
