Microsoft has occupied office space above CF Pacific Centre since 2016.

Vancouver-based yogawear giant Lululemon Athletica Inc. (Nasdaq:LULU) today confirmed to BIV that it has signed a lease to occupy nearly 300,000 square feet of office space above CF Pacific Centre in downtown Vancouver once current tenant Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT) departs.

"The new location will add to Lululemon’s existing fleet of offices in Vancouver, and select Lululemon business functions will begin moving into Pacific Centre in the back half of 2026,” the company said in an email.

“Lululemon was founded in Vancouver and we are proud the city is home to our global headquarters and the majority of our corporate employees."

Lululemon has long had office space at 1818 Cornwall Ave. as well as at 1380 Burrard St. and 855 Homer St. It then leased 120,000 square feet of office space at 1280 Burrard St. in 2022

It had received city council approval to build a 13-storey, 593,000-square-foot building at 1980 Foley St. in the False Creek Flats. BIV asked the company in an email what was happening with that project but did not get a response by press time.

Microsoft opened its CF Pacific Centre office in 2016, and marked the occasion with a ceremony by having its president, Brad Smith, attend, along with political dignitaries. They included former prime minister Justin Trudeau, former premier Christy Clark and former Vancouver mayor Gregor Robertson.

The space was an expansion to the Seattle-based tech giant's other Vancouver offices.
