A luxury downtown Vancouver condo first listed at $26.5M just cut its price in half

More than $14 million was dropped off the price.

The price of a luxury condo in downtown Vancouver has been slashed by more than half.

Listed less than a year ago at $26.5 million, the sub-penthouse unit at 2900-1139 W Cordova St. is now on the market for $12.25 million. While that's still a large price tag, it's a reduction of around 53 per cent.

The Coal Harbour luxury home is well appointed, with four bedrooms, each with its own en suite, according to the listing. With more than 5,400 square feet of space, there's also room for separate living, family, and dining rooms. On top of that, there are multiple covered balconies; at least one faces each direction.

Aside from the full floor upstairs, there's also a four-car garage "ideal for your luxury vehicles." And the building itself comes with a variety of fancy amenities like "24-hour concierge, security, pool, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, gym, games room, and virtual golf."

According to BC Assessment the condo is valued at $13.57 million; it's actually dropped a little from 2019 when it was valued at $18.05 million. Another unit in the same building, but on the ground level, is on the market for $10 million.
