Fourth roommate for 2-bedroom Vancouver rental gets bed behind screen in living room

The living room is "very spacious and barely anyone uses it" reads the listing.

This bright and airy private room is actually a sectioned-off corner of someone's living room.

This recently-listed rental in a two-bedroom two-bathroom Downtown Vancouver apartment comes with three other roommates (a couple and a woman), with one of which the prospective fourth roommate will also have to share a bathroom.

The living room, which has been turned into a makeshift room, is "very spacious and barely anyone uses it, except when cooking," the Facebook listing reads.

The kitchen and living room are only separated by a counter and a couch which is seen neatly tucked under the kitchen counter and facing the screen divider.

The semi-private room goes for $800 per month, but it comes with a few requirements. The space is available for women only and asks for a six-month commitment. Applicants who are working professionals are preferred.

Complete with in-unit laundry and parking, the living room is available for rent starting in September.
