Ideal for 'groups of friends buying together': Vancouver apartment building, duplexes selling for under $10 million

The listing agent suggests this might be a good option for multi-generational families or several people pooling their money.

A quiet corner property in Strathcona is up for sale.

Recently put on the market for $9.8 million, the listing for 795 Keefer St is actually for three buildings altogether: a small apartment building and two duplexes.

The apartment building is from Vancouver's early boom years, when Strathcona grew quickly. Built in 1910, the 115-year-old building has seven apartments and a little corner cafe space. It's currently leased to Wilder Snail, a local independent coffee shop and convenience store.

Along with the apartment building are a pair of duplexes, each with two 3-bedroom units.

In all there are 11 residential units on the property, with a total of more than 20 bedrooms.

"This is a truly versatile offering, ideal for multi-generational families, groups of friends buying together, or investors seeking steady returns," reads the listing.
