If you’re looking to reconnect with nature in Whistler this summer, going on an adventure with Canadian Wilderness Adventures is the way to do it.

Offering a range of world-renowned outdoor experiences, this adventure company will make your time in the naturally beautiful and mind-altering Sea-to-Sky corridor equal parts thrilling and rejuvenating.

Canadian Wilderness Adventures operates in the Callaghan Valley and on Blackcomb Mountain, which are considered to be Whistler’s most inspirational settings for outdoor experiences in B.C. Their team of friendly, courteous, and professional tour guides have a special knack for providing those who are new to outdoor adventures with an experience that is full of ease and excitement.

From ATV tours to guided canoe rides, you and your family and friends will have the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with our province’s incredible backyard like never before.

With Canadian Wilderness Adventures’ Jeep 4x4 Tours, a professional driver will lead you and your small group on a private safari tour through the magnificent Blackcomb Mountain’s winding trail system in a Jeep 4x4. Along your journey of discovery, you will go past glacier-fed rivers, marvel at the snow-capped Horstman Glacier, admire the views of the Coast Mountain Range, and see the mountain wildlife in their natural habitat.

The Mountain Explorer ATV Tour on Blackcomb Mountain is tailor made for first time riders. Families, friends, and couples will be introduced to the basics of ATVing in a safe environment before heading off on a tour to explore the mountain. As you ride along the wide mountain trails, you will enjoy the stunning alpine and valley views of Whistler Valley and the Coast Mountain Range. In the Callaghan Valley, you can follow the ‘'Call of the Wild' into the backcountry. Suitable for confident beginner drivers, you will navigate through a mix of terrain. Intermediate ATV drivers can progress to Whistler’s longest single track trail for a challenge.

As you drive along the outdoor playground on your ATV, don’t forget to look around and admire the natural sights around you.

Embark on the Great Canadian E-Bike Tour on a full suspension electric mountain bike. This adventure tour is recommended for riders who are already comfortable on a mountain bike and off pavement.

As your tour guide takes you through the magnificent old-growth forest alongside Callaghan Creek, you can expect to ride on relatively smooth and wide open trails and cruise on the double track off-road trail that leads to the breathtaking jewel of the valley — Alexander Falls.

Want to explore the trails on your own? You can rent an electric mountain bike for a half-day or full day from Canadian Wilderness Adventures’ Eagle Lodge location in Whistler Village.

Taking the guided Canoe Tour down the River of Golden Dreams is a summertime classic in Whistler. Your canoe guide will take you and your family and friends on a blissful morning or afternoon adventure, paddling across Whistler’s biggest lake, Alta Lake.

As water levels are ever changing, this tour can come with many wonderful surprises, such as sightings of beaver dams and families of ducks and geese in the late summer. During your relaxing ride on the river, you’ll paddle through flowing lilies and around bends of overhanging greenery.

Canadian Wilderness Adventures has implemented a lot of changes to how they operate in order to keep guests and staff safe. For a complete list of their COVID-19 procedures, visit their website.
