More than a performance venue, ECC is a hub for creativity, culture and community and this fall, it’s opening its doors once again for another season packed with unforgettable talent.

A season worth exploring

Known as “the cultural jewel in Coquitlam’s Town Centre,” Evergreen Cultural Centre is regarded for its electrifying programming that reflects the diversity and creativity of the region. This year’s Music Series is particularly noteworthy, featuring Canadian folk legend Valdy, JUNO-nominated Indigenous folk duo Burnstick and powerhouse R&B and soul icon Tina Leon, who has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder.

Fans of classical music will also enjoy the Musical Matinées Series, which offers midday concerts complete with catered pre-show receptions and intimate performances by the likes of the renowned Bergmann Piano Duo. For those who prefer a more casual and personal setting, the Rehearsal Hall Sessions  bring music, comedy, theatre and dance into an up-close venue where audiences can discover both emerging and established local artists pushing the boundaries of their craft.

In addition to live music, Evergreen’s programming brings together celebrated talent across a variety of disciplines, including contemporary dance, side-splitting comedy, ballet and even innovative puppetry. You can view their full calendar of programming for their Theatre Series, Music Series, Family Series, Variety Series and more, online.
