The hottest months of the year are right around the corner, which means it's time to start thinking about your local summer plans.

What better way to physically distance than being in the fresh air of Harrison Lake at the only waterpark publicly opening for Summer 2020?

For those itching to get away from the city and go on a fun day trip or weekend getaway in beautiful British Columbia, look no further than Harrison Water Sports. Located approximately 90 minutes east of Vancouver on Harrison Lake, the gigantic inflatable waterpark is a hub for play, adventure, relaxation, and bonding with your family, friends, and colleagues.

Here are just a few of the exciting water activities available to rent and enjoy during your day of adventure on the lake:

The main attraction of Harrison Water Sports is their massive, brightly-coloured, can’t-be-missed floating waterpark. Set up as a bouncing obstacle course with hamster balls, monkey bars, swings, slides, trampolines, and more playful amusements, you can expect a full day of fun and recreation at this gigantic playground. To send yourself and your party flying high, take a big jump onto the Blob, a giant inflatable cushion that will launch you right up in the sky and down into a splash landing.

For an action-packed, adrenaline rush of an afternoon on Harrison Lake, experience the thrill of renting and riding a Sea-Doo. You and a partner can jet around the lake on these GTI models stacked with 130-HP engines that propel the watercraft at over 90 kph. Harrison Water Sports offers a large area for riders, whether you want to enjoy the high speed of the vessel or tour the natural beauty of the lake at a leisurely pace.

Nothing says summer like an outdoor BBQ picnic. This summer Harrison Water Sports will be the only ones offering floating BBQ boats in the Lower Mainland.

Round up six of your favourite people for some quality time together on Harrison Lake. Your group can choose whether you want to bring in take-out from a nearby restaurant or have a cook-out on the boat’s grill. Also included in the BBQ boat package are a bluetooth speaker sound system, a large shade umbrella, swim ladder, life jackets and safety equipment. Don’t forget to bring your cooler (to keep your refreshments ice cold) and sunscreen!

You know what’s better than bumper cars at the fair? Bumper boats on the lake! If you want to get into a wet and wild water fight with your family, friends, or teammates, each bumper boat comes equipped with an electric water gun capable of spraying your opponents from up to 10 feet away. And if you just want to float around on a lazy summer day, these individual bumper boats are perfect for getting the most out of the lake’s open and tranquil surroundings. Powered by an electric motor, these boats are very environmentally friendly as well.

Harrison Water Sports is adhering to the public health recommendations of the province. Common surfaces and equipment, including lifejackets and wetsuits, will be frequently washed and disinfected to provide the highest level of safety for visitors and employees.

BBQ boats, Seadoos, and bumper boats are available for the summer season. Opening on June 27, Harrison Water Sports WaterPark will be in operation daily from 11am to 6pm until September 7.
