Bosa Foods has just completed an extensive “refresh” of their Kootenay Street location to provide foodies from all over the Lower Mainland with an even better shopping experience. In fact, this location now offers the largest selection of specialty foods and ingredients imported from the entire Mediterranean region in the greater Vancouver area.
Bosa Foods carries over 7,000 products ranging from panettone to hundreds of pasta options, Italian condiments, truffles, tapenades, spreads, tomato sauces, and even a line of cheesecakes flown in from Italy. The selection is unlike anything else in the city, with three entire aisles dedicated to pasta alone, plus hard-to-find imported ingredients and kitchenware, featuring all the gadgets, pans, accessories and utensils you’ll need to make an authentic Italian feast.

But that’s not all...
Imported foods from all over the world, including cured meats are available at Bosa Foods, like Iberico Ham and Prosciutto di San Daniele from Spain. Of course you’ll also find dozens of classic Italian varieties like Prosciutto di Parma, capocollo, salami and pancetta.
Bosa Foods also carries specialty and artisan cheeses from around the world, in fact there are over 400 varieties to choose from.

The newly renovated location also offers fresh take-out meals (made in-house) for lunch, dinner, parties and events. You can even have a delicious homemade panini and espresso in their cafe. Be sure to also check out the freezer section, which is full of fantastic options like made-in-Italy pizzas, pasta, specialty meats, and heat-and-serve meals.
The renos also include a new floor finish, all new deli cases, a revamped takeout counter and an extra efficient cashier area.

In 1957, Augusto Bosa opened the first Bosa Foods store in Vancouver, pledging to continue importing traditional Italian specialty food products to a growing Italian community.
