It’s the most wonderful time of the year and with that, the PNE is set to launch Vancouver's most entertaining holiday experience!
The first ever PNE Winter Fair is taking place on December 14-23 from 4:30 to 10:30 nightly. With concerts, skating and food delights, not to mention holiday shopping and holiday lights, this year’s festivities are sure to be become an annual tradition, much like the summer Fair.
After two years of COVID drive-through winter events, this year’s Winter Fair display will feature the two walkable light tunnels. The dazzling array of technicolor holiday lights will depict some of your favourite winter scenery, including foxes, seals, and giant moose in the land of Winter Creatures. You’ll also get to experience the Northern Lights in Vancouver, trek through Polar North, and experience the vibrance and joy of Candy Cane Lane.
You can also enjoy skating on the Tim Horton’s Ice Rink at the historic PNE Agrodome, where guests of all ages can experience the joy of this iconic holiday activity with friends and family, complete with live musical performances happening on the ice and a hot cocoa stand.
Surely you’ll have worked up an appetite at this point, and fortunately, the PNE Winter Fair outdoor holiday market is chalked full of seasonal treats, including specialty doughnuts and festive drinks. Here you can shop from a curated collection of BC’s finest craft vendors and artisans. There’s certainly no better setting to cross a few names off your holiday shopping list.
If you really want to get into the holiday spirit, be sure to check out the nightly tree lighting, as the PNE illuminates their giant 50-foot illuminated Christmas tree complete with a musical countdown.
