Sugar, butter, and flour. These are three simple ingredients that can make a lot of magic together. At Uprising Breads Bakery Café, it’s their literal bread and butter!
Since 1976, this local Bakery Café on Venables Street and Commercial Drive has been delivering Flour Power in the form of fresh baked honey sweetened breads and a variety of traditional pastries, cookies and pies right in the East Van community.
If you’re curious to know their track record, for over 45 years, Uprising Breads Bakery Café has served nearly three generations of customers, four major renovations, five different espresso machines, and over 2.5 million muffins!
