It’s finally time to come Together Again!

Members of Vancouver’s 2SLGBTQAI+ community and their allies are reuniting to celebrate Vancouver Pride in-person for the first time since 2019. This year, Vancouver Pride Society is centering collaborations with QTBIPOC organizations throughout the city to amplify racialized talent through inclusive and accessible events.

Vancouver Pride’s signature Pride Weekend event, the Vancouver Pride Parade, is back on July 31 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with floats and spectators once again marching through Robson, Denman, and Beach Avenue to the parade’s stop at Sunset Beach. For the best seat in the West End, grab your friends and head to the Parade Viewing Party at Craft Beer Market.

At this year’s Sunset Beach Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pride celebrators can visit the artisan market, dance it out to performances by all Indigenous performers and DJs at Hotlatch’s TD Main Stage and all Asian performers and DJs at RiceCake’s Community Stage, and catch the shows on Normie Corp’s Stoli Stage from the Beer Garden.

For substance-free fun after the Sunset Beach Festival, check out the Sober Lounge from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the parking lot of Shoppers Drug Mart on Davie Street, where there will be appearances and performances from MC Alma Bitches, Jaylene Tyme, Kendall Gender, Juice Boxx, Ruby Starlight, TODDY, Serenity Meadows, and more.
