Did you know that the North Shore is the birthplace of craft beer in Canada?
Established back in 1982, the Horseshoe Bay Brewery in West Vancouver was the country’s first microbrewery. Since then, the North Shore has developed into the base for a diverse and dynamic community of craft breweries, each with its own distinct personalities, that are all just waiting to be untapped.
From November 3 to 14, the 2022 edition of Vancouver's North Shore Craft Beer Week will bring local craft beer lovers together yet again to celebrate the region’s finest craft beer.
Kicking off the week-long craft beer festival on November 3 the Craft Beer Week launch party at The Pipe Shop is where guests can sample some of B.C.’s best craft brews from participating North Shore craft breweries.
General admission tickets for the launch event are on sale now and come with drink tokens and a tasting mug. RSVP now and enjoy an amazing evening in the historic Shipyards district while enjoying live music courtesy from Musos Entertainment, food trucks, games, prize giveaways, and much more. As well, partial proceeds from the event will go towards Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.
Featured special events, hosted across Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week’s 11 participating breweries, are scheduled for every evening of the 11-day festival. The schedule includes:

Admission for these featured events are free and offer a great way to get to know the North Shore different breweries, sip on their brews, and have some fun!
