The end of Summer is marked by different events for different people. For some its kids back in school, for others its things like Livestocks legendary block party. While for this hombre, it was the annual Good Times Cruise In car show in Langley! 
This show is one of the biggest in North America. How big? To put it in perspective, I entered my car this year and I was number 1305! Its really insane. All of downtown Langley is closed off and the cars on display go for miles and miles..

If you've never experienced it, you definitely should. Especially if you like cars. There's something for everyone and certainly no accounting for taste at times. The air is filled with the smell of gasoline , burnt rubber and little donuts - while the deafening sound of big block motors revving can be heard for miles. People watching is at a premium too!

Being an entrant is a unique experience as well. Lots of stories from people about memories of a family car similar to yours. Plenty of tire kicking and fantasy talk about what's next on the list for the old girl, heck I even got a guy to stripe my dash

All in all an amazing experience. A celebration of car culture and all things apparently bad for us like noise, fumes and greasey grub . Funny thing is you see more people participating over 60 then you'd ever see anywhere else. Good healthy fun I say!
