Don't even think about driving on this major Burnaby road on Thursday afternoon

Several streets in Burnaby Heights will be closed to traffic on Thursday, July 11 because of the Giro di Burnaby cycling event.

Commuting home is tough - even at the best of times.

The afternoon and evening of Thursday, July 11 in North Burnaby will not be the best of times for commuters. This is a warning to avoid the Heights area if you aren’t planning on shopping there or watching the annual Giro di Burnaby cycling races.

That’s because several streets will be closed to vehicle traffic and people parking in certain areas.
