Three Small Things about car2go - Small Thing #3

A couple weeks back we introduced you to car2go (see posts 1 and 2), the new car-sharing service that's had success in Austin and in Europe and is launching in Vancouver in June. Leading up to the launch we're going to highlight three small things about car2go that we think are especially awesome.

Small Thing #3 is: the fact that they did their homework, and that it was actually no small task

In Small Thing #1 I told you about the size of these smart cars and how easy they are to park, in Small Thing #2 I mentioned free parking and gas included. This third thing is pretty crucial when you're coming into town with 225 vehicles, one for every 5 blocks. But car2go and Daimler have been doing test runs with the vehicles and local businesses and non-profits. They've been fine tuning it for months so that it works right out of the gate here. They even made sure to set some of your favourite radio stations in the presets, and they're open to suggestions on others in case yours isn't in there.

Up until May 27th car2go is waiving the registration fee so you can sign up for FREE! Also, your $2 annual fee will be donated to Canuck Place Children's Hospice. Win/win. Go NOW and use the promo code VAN.
