TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING?

As per most of my random photo posts lately, these were shot not far from Main street. They got me thinking about an idea I've had that's like a Westfalia timeshare.

As per most of my random photo posts lately, these were shot not far from Main street. They got me thinking about an idea I've had that's like a Westfalia timeshare. 52 people pitch in to purchase a bus and they each get it for one week of every year.

Odds are that at least 3 of the sharers would be mechanics so the maintenance costs are low and if the original buying price is like $10,000 then each person only has to pay $192 to buy in. You can't rent these things but if you could they'd be like 50 bucks a day... so I guess it's only like getting 3 free rental days the first year. But if you look at it in the long run, one week of the joy of owning a VW every year for like the ten more years it'll be on the road... hmmmmm.

NOTE: these both had Washington plates, so maybe they've got a Westfalia timeshare set up there already.
