A European travel agency offers a return ticket to Montreal from Vancouver for a jaw-dropping $104.45 CAD fare including tax that departs in 2021.

If you're looking to visit a new Canadian city outside of B.C. this summer, Montreal offers a range of activities for people and families of all ages.

And while flights to Quebec's largest city usually come with a steep price tag, one of Canada's discount carriers offers return tickets for a steal.

As long as everything goes according to plan, B.C. residents may enjoy cross-country travel beginning Canada Day (July 1). Flair Airlines has unveiled several ultra-low fares across B.C. and Canada as it encourages travellers to revisit the skies once again.

While there are numerous cheap flights to choose from, a couple of tickets from Vancouver to Montreal are hard to beat. While it costs a bit more to book direct, if you are comfortable with booking your ticket through a third-party supplier you can save even more money.

A European travel agency called eDreams offers a return ticket to "the city of saints" from Vancouver for a jaw-dropping $104.45 CAD fare including tax.

You can book your ticket with eDreams online by selecting Vancouver (YVR) and Montreal (YUL) with the departure date as Nov. 1 and the return date of Nov. 9.

Of course, third-party suppliers have their own rules — so don't skip the fine print on this purchase. The advantage of booking direct is that you don't have to go through anyone to make changes to your ticket. However, booking travel insurance will also come in handy should you need to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

Prefer to go direct?

If you would rather book through the airline directly, Flair's total ticket price is still a great deal, particularly when you consider that return trips to Montreal typically start closer to $400 CAD.

With the same dates, the discount carrier offers a return ticket for $178.33. You can book with them online

Everything fully vaccinated travellers need to know about Canada's new travel requirements

Are you fully vaccinated?

While numerous Canadians have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, many others are anxious about when they can roll up their sleeves for a second shot — especially after the federal government announced that fully vaccinated travellers may enter the country quarantine-free.

Beginning July 5 at midnight, fully vaccinated travellers who are permitted to enter Canada will not be subject to the federal requirement to quarantine or take a COVID-19 test on day-8. Additionally, fully vaccinated travellers arriving by air will not be required to stay at a government-authorized hotel.
