If you've never experienced the Martime provinces, you're in for a treat. Not only do they offer some of the most spellbinding panoramas in all of Canada, but they also offer a number of incredible places to dine, shop, and stroll.
Unfortunately, tickets to the Martimes are not always cheap. In fact, a return trip can cost well over $800 CAD return during peak season. Luckily, we've found a hack that offers a return ticket to Halifax during the summer for under $500 return.
In order to get the lowest fare, however, the trip needs to be booked on two separate tickets. Booked through Air Canada, the outbound flight departs on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from Vancouver and has a two-and-a-half hour in Toronto. The total cost of this ticket is $283.27 CAD including all taxes and fees.
Booked through Flair Airlines, the return flight departs Halifax, Nova Scotia a week later on Tuesday, Aug. 18 and has just over a two-and-a-half hour layover in Toronto. The total cost of this ticket is $203.52 CAD including all taxes and fees. As a result, the total cost of the return ticket, including all taxes and fees, comes to $486.79 CAD.
