Since April I've been appearing on a regular panel of Global's new 24 hour news channel, BC1, on behalf of V.I.A.. Trish Friesen and I would join Jill Krop and we'd pit one BC destination (presented by me) with one international place to travel (Trish's beat). We started with Galiano Island VS Dubai (LINK) and went on to Harrison Hot Springs VS London England (LINK) and more. It was great fun and we hope you got some inspiration to explore your province and your world a little bit because of it.
Last Friday Jill announced that the show had run its course and that she's switching over to the 7PM time slot where she'll become the regular host of BC1's Top Story show that's touted as a "hard news talk show". It used to be a half an hour show but when Jill launches with it on September 9th she'll have an entire hour. I had an incredible time on our travel panel and can't wait to see what Jill and her team of producers have got cooking for September. You might even see Trish and I are on there in some other capacity. Stay tuned!
