Low-cost carrier Flair Airlines announced Tuesday (Nov. 16) that it will offer a new route connecting Vancouver with Los Cabos in Mexico starting in February 2022.

Flights will commence on the new route starting Feb. 1, 2022, offering direct service to the sunny destination from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on Tuesdays and Saturdays; it will fly to Los Cabos on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Abbotsford and Edmonton, too.

The airline is also introducing nonstop, low-fare flights to Cancun from Ottawa and Kitchener-Waterloo.

The fares will start from $129 CAD one-way.

“Starting in February, Canadians will enjoy affordable, sunny winter getaways to Cancun and Los Cabos without breaking the bank,” said Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer, Flair Airlines.

“We can’t wait to get our customers to the beach.”

Flair recently added several destinations south of the border from YVR including Las Vegas, Phoenix-Mesa, Hollywood Burbank and Palm Springs. Direct one-way tickets started at $79 to $109 CAD including all taxes and fees.
