Harbour Air is now offering seasonal service between Vancouver (Coal Harbour) and Whistler (Green Lake) as well as panoramic tours over Vancouver and the south coast, starting May 15, 2025.

Sometimes the best way to see the Sea-to-Sky corridor is to take off from the sea and get there via the sky.

At least that's how it happens if you want to travel from downtown Vancouver to Whistler's Green Lake with Harbour Air.

The popular regional seaplane airline is relaunching seasonal flight service to Whistler starting May 15 and running through September 29, 2025.

Flights originate in Vancouver from the Coal Harbour seaplane terminal and the trip takes about 45 minutes. A daily flight leaves downtown Vancouver at 10 a.m. and arrives in Whistler (Green Lake) at 10:45 a.m. while a daily trip departs Green Lake in Whistler at 6 p.m. with a 6:45 p.m. arrival at the Coal Harbour terminal on the Vancouver waterfront. One-way fares start at $121.

Earlier this spring, Harbour launched its seasonal routes connecting downtown Vancouver with Tofino and Comox on Vancouver Island.

Seasonal scenic flights return

Also returning with the sunshine are Harbour Air's seasonal scenic flights, which can help you cross off your own local bucket list or enthrall your out-of-town guests this summer.

Flights from Vancouver include daily panorama tours. A 30-minute tour (with prices starting at $159 per person) offers an aerial look at the downtown skyline and iconic landmarks such as Stanley Park, English Bay, the Lions Gate Bridge, and the majestic North Shore Mountains. An extended 45-minute tour departing from Coal Harbour adds on an extra jaunt, heading north along the coast towards Whistler, before circling back over the picturesque islands of Howe Sound.

Harbour Air also offers seasonal panorama and whale watching tours out of Victoria harbour, and also has Whistler Glacier and Valley tours daily. This year, the airline has added an additional three Whistler region tours per day.

"There’s something magical about seeing British Columbia from the air that forever changes how you experience the beauty of this province," said Chris Fordyce, VP Commercial, Harbour Air.
