Get round-trip airfare from Vancouver's YVR airport to the City of Sin at a steal with Sunwing this fall.

One of the cheapest deals out of Metro Vancouver has dropped to its lowest price so the year.

Sunwing Vacations packages to Las Vegas include direct, return flights from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) with accommodation starting at just over $310 on select dates.

But prices on the packages have dipped below this jaw-dropping price point, with a deal starting under $300 including all taxes and fees.

A flight that departs Vancouver on Tuesday, Sept. 19, and returns from Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 22 includes accommodation for three nights at the four-star Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino for $298 including all taxes and fees per person based on double occupancy with a deluxe room and a king bed. However, it does not include a transfer from the airport.

A package with accommodation at nearby The Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower only costs slightly more, at $301 for the same dates with return flights from YVR.

Travellers who prefer to stay directly on the popular Las Vegas strip in the heart of the action will find several hotels in the $330 to $430 range, starting at the three-star Circus Circus Hotel Casino.

Vancouverites who want a more luxurious stay won't have to pay top dollar to get it -- but the prices for posh accommodations start at higher price points than they did booking in July.

While a stay at the breathtaking, five-star Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World cost $444 including all taxes and fees last month, travellers can expect to pay $566 for a three-night stay with return airfare. However, this is still an incredible deal for a luxury property.

With WestJet's recent acquisition of Sunwing, prices on the popular vacation supplier's products may increase in the coming months. Industry experts have speculated that this may be the last season to enjoy ultra-low-cost packages to Las Vegas and some of Sunwing's other bargain offers, including its charter flights.

WestJet said the merger will actually produce more competitive fares but it has also decided to nix its discount carrier, Swoop, removing another major supplier of low-cost airfare in Canada.
