Someone in Metro Vancouver just won the $24 million jackpot

And no one has claimed the ticket.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation has announced that someone in Metro Vancouver has won a whopping $24 million prize. 

BCLC announced that last night's Lotto 6/49 $24 million jackpot was won by a ticket purchased in Aldergrove. However, no one has claimed the prize yet. 


The winning numbers are 7, 17, 18, 22, 28 and 34. The ticket was the only one in Canada to match all six numbers.

BCLC will announce the specific retail location in Aldergrove that sold the winning ticket once the winner has come forward to claim the life-changing prize.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BCLC encourages the player who purchased the winning Lotto 6/49 ticket to contact BCLC Customer Support at 1-866-815-0222 to begin the alternate prize-claim process via telephone.

All lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize.

BCLC its retail partners are reopening lottery kiosks in B.C. The corporation states that kiosks will reopen in phases throughout the coming weeks with enhancements to support the health and well being of retailers and players, including plexiglass shields and floor decals to indicate appropriate distancing.
