I first photographed today's #ArtistAtHome when he was playing with his band The Zolas at The Vancouver 125 celebration in Stanley Park in 2011. The following year he was one of the musicians on the epic Tracks on Tracks Rock N Roll train experience from Vancouver to Toronto that remains one of the best experiences in my life. Ladies and gentlemen, please meet Zach Gray! Along with the many great performances and parties that took place on that trip, Zach and his friend and fellow musician Adrian Glynn also rocked matching Hello Kitty PJ's for almost the entire trip. Serious dedication. These days Zach has been busy touring with the Zolas promoting their new album "Swooner". He also recently collaborated with Carly Rae Jepsen writing the song 'LA Hallucinations' from her recent album "Emotion".

We had a great visit and discussed the delicate art of smuggling "contraband" into concerts, as well as the time I tussled with a security guard at a Bruce Springsteen show after said contraband was confiscated.
